Amidst Rejection

The feeling of rejection is not just skin deep. It leaves a deep wound inside that person's being.

Maybe you keep on asking yourself what if's and why not's, what went wrong, was it something you have done or you have said? Was it because of who you are and who you are not?

No one can even see this wound you have inside. The pain will still linger in your heart even after weeks, months or years until you start to surrender it to God and let Him work in and through you. It is not an easy process. You will have to go through nights of crying, wondering why you're not enough.

But dear, if you're reading this. I just want to remind you that you are worth it. Somebody gave His life for you. Somebody paid a great price for you. And that is Jesus.

Maybe you're still on the process of moving on. Take it easy, take it slowly. Do not rush and force yourself to temporarily cover up the wounds. One day, you'll get there.

God places people in our lives for a reason and removes them for a better reason.

PS: It's funny how words flow freely and soulful when you're feeling low.
